Shipping Containers
Shipping Containers is a logistics asset specified by external dimensions, payload class, door configuration, condition and intended operating use. Commercial selection should define size, type, condition, certification status, quantity, inspection, modification requirements and delivery location.
Young Agro brings the Shipping Containers requirement into one documented brief covering size, type, condition, certification status, quantity, inspection, modification requirements and delivery location before availability, pricing and logistics are reviewed. Final specification, availability and commercial terms remain subject to the buyer's request, supporting documents and agreed contract.
Specifications are commercial references and remain subject to contract, inspection and shipment confirmation.
COMMERCIAL DELIVERY FRAMEWORK
Trade process
Delivery terms are selected for the exact product, transport mode, destination, contract and compliance requirements. Final responsibilities, costs and risk transfer are defined in the signed sale contract.
Cost, Insurance and Freight (CIF)
For an agreed named destination port, the seller arranges and pays for carriage and the required insurance cover. Delivery, risk transfer, documents and discharge responsibilities remain subject to the agreed Incoterms® 2020 rule and contract.
Free On Board (FOB)
For an agreed named loading port, the seller delivers the goods on board the buyer-nominated vessel. The buyer arranges the main carriage and insurance after the contractual transfer point.
Tanker Take Over (TTO)
A specialist bulk-liquid transaction structure involving an agreed transfer of operational or commercial control for a loaded tanker. It is considered only when relevant and after vessel, title, authority, documentation and compliance checks.
Tanker-to-Tanker Transfer (TTT)
A specialist bulk-liquid transfer between vessels or tanks under an agreed operating procedure. It is considered only when relevant and subject to terminal, vessel, safety, custody-transfer and regulatory approval.
Industrial & Chemicals note: The applicable structure depends on whether the product moves as packaged cargo, container freight, dry bulk or bulk liquid. TTO and TTT are relevant only to suitable tanker-based bulk-liquid movements.
